Fundraising
Fundraising is vital to ensure we can continue to run the office, which enables us to manage the shopping, befriending and driving services to our existing clients and to an increasing number of new clients.
In addition to the monthly afternoon teas held at The Cambrian Centre, we offer trips to Kew Gardens, Holly Lodge in Richmond Park, Ham House and The Poppy Factory, as well as offering a fortnightly shopping bus to Kew Retail Park but all these activities need financing as we need to hire a mini bus to transport our clients.
How can you help?
There are two easy ways to help us to boost our funds; you can donate via www.localgiving.org; this can be a standing order or a one off donation or you can raise funds when shopping on line via the easyfundraising platform. You can also make a payment direct to our Lloyds Bank account, Sort Code 30-96-26 Account 74747260.
If you are an online shopper visit our easyfundraising page. When you make a purchase, the retailer sends us a donation based on the value of your shop. It’s as simple as that! So far we have raised over £1500 from shopping via this platform.
Fundraising for a small charity is never easy and we are grateful to the many individuals who make donations small and large to help Richmond Good Neighbours. If you are a UK tax payer, please remember to Gift Aid any donations you make. You can download our Gift Aid form to complete and return to us.
Legacy Planning
Losing someone is never easy but if you would like to nominate Richmond Good Neighbours in a collection at a funeral or to leave a legacy in your will, you can help to make sure that other local residents continue to benefit from the support offered by Richmond Good Neighbour volunteers.
National Lottery Community Fund
We are absolutely thrilled to be in receipt of a generous donation from the National Lottery Community Fund which will help to ensure that we can continue to provide events and outings for clients, provide training for our volunteers and continue to raise the organisation’s visibility in Richmond.
Cantell & Co
We are delighted that local estate agents Cantell & Co are able to support Richmond Good Neighbours. They are very happy to donate 10% of their sales fee to Richmond Good Neighbours, when a house sale is referred through them.
They work diligently to sell a house with the minimum of fuss, finding a good buyer whilst always acting in their clients’ best interests.
